The PAAT exists to promote the highest standards of teaching of the Alexander Technique, as set out by Alexander in his four books.
PAAT runs a four-year training course in Birmingham, which demands a very high standard of competpetence. Qualification is, and always has been, by examination.

The PAAT Recreational Course or students wishing to explore the technique beyond the confines of private lessons but in a non-vocational context.
