The
European Shiatsu School
Founded in 1985,
the European Shiatsu School has developed a solid reputation for teaching
the skills, competence and confidence required for success as a
professional Shiatsu practitioner. We offer you the credibility and
resources of one of the world’s most established Shiatsu schools, with
study facilities within Britain and Europe, plus affiliated schools
worldwide.
The European
Shiatsu School is a registered charity whose objectives are:
The school
exists only to uphold and enhance the quality of Shiatsu. As a non profit
making organisation we are able to direct all revenue back into the
courses. This allows us to ensure our courses are unlikely to be surpassed
in content, attention to detail, supervision and student support. Our
training strategy is reflected in the high morale and low drop out rate
amongst participants.
Why Study
Shiatsu?
Shiatsu is a
method which allows us to give and receive care, warmth and healing
through non-intrusive touch. Its potential role within society is forever
increasing as we become more divorced from direct personal communication
and tactile human contact. The role of the European |Shiatsu School (ESS)
is to help promote the awareness and application of Shiatsu, and thus
contribute to a more harmonious society.
Studying
Shiatsu does not mean you have to become a practitioner and develop a new
career. Some students learn Shiatsu primarily because they wish to improve
their own health and because they enjoy giving Shiatsu to family and
friends.
