Acne is a common problem among teenagers affecting 90% at one time or another. Adults also have their share of acne problems, especially women whose hormones are in constant flux. One in four adults between the ages of 25 and 44 have dealt with acne and half of all adult women have experienced mild to moderate acne. About 90% of all teenagers develop acne. Acne is starting at even younger ages today as puberty begins earlier. Acne may also art as late as the 20's or 30's, especially in women whose hormones are constantly fluctuating.
