- Ask him/her for a brief medical
history which includes your allergies (especially allergies to any
drugs)
- Checked the pollen count of your
holiday destination?
- Fitted an air filter on your car
air conditioning system? Also, pack spare filters!
- Checked your flight is
non-smoking?
- Requested special food
requirements?
- Written down a translation of any
foods to which you are allergic?
- The name and telephone number of
a doctor at your holiday destination?
- The address of the hospital
nearest to where you are staying?
- The emergency telephone number of
the country you are visiting?
- Noted your National health
number?
- Obtained an E111 form from the
DHSS?*
- Written down your treatment plan?
- Packed your medicines? Health
Insurance details? Credit card? (Make a photocopy of these documents
and carry one with you at all times and leave another at your hotel
