Laser Hair Removal Bikini Area

One of the main reasons women wish to get laser hair removal in the bikini area is Folliculitis, known as ingrown hair and can be a painful and aggravating condition. For women this problem usually is confined to the bikini area. This is an area that you most certainly do not wish to have to worry about.

Almost all ingrown hair is caused by shaving. As the razor cuts the hair shaft it will sometimes leave the shaft just below the skin surface. This hair can sometimes start to grow sideways inside the skin. Of course, as this happens, the hair follicle becomes irritated. Once it is irritated, you may develop an infection. As the infection becomes worse a pimple may develop.

Now there is laser removal treatment for these ingrown hairs, and yes this includes the pubic areas. While men tend to mainly suffer from ingrown hairs in the area of the beard, women have the most problem in the bikini area. Laser hair removal targets the root of the problem. Once you have completed a few sessions to have the removal procedure you will start to see a noticeable reduction in the amount of ingrown hairs. This is do to the fact that the laser treatment is killing the problem at the source, the root of the hair including the follicle itself.

Today?s razor manufacturer?s are contributing to the problem. The more razor technology advances it creates better and closer shaving razor?s. Close shaving razor?s do a wonderful job, but they also contribute to ingrown hair

A pulsed light laser can prevent this from happening. It kills the follicle so that it no longer produces a hair at all. If there is no hair, then obviously there can be no ingrown hair.
