A
Challenge to Chills
New
evidence reveals how Höfels herbs can help keep you warmer this winter
Höfels ‘Ginger & Ginkgo in Garlic’
tablets contain a unique combination of herbs, specially developed to help
promote a healthy circulatory system.
|
Ginger
Renowned for its
ability to warm and soothe, the medicinal use of ginger can be
traced back to the origins of Chinese herbal medicine five thousand
years ago. Across the centuries it has been valued as an important
aid to body temperature and circulation, as well as an effective
pain-reliever and anti-nausea treatment. |
Ginkgo
Biloba
The medicinal
pedigree of ginkgo leaf also stretches back over five millennia to
the beginnings of medical knowledge. The power of ginkgo lies in its
ability to encourage circulation to the head and the extremities,
helping to maintain good blood flow between the heart, the brain and
the central nervous system. |
Garlic
This culinary
favourite has recently fallen under the microscope of medical
review. Research shows that garlic can help maintain a healthy
cardiovascular system – improving blood flow, cholesterol levels
and blood pressure. Antibacterial and antioxidant properties make
garlic a powerful aid to maintaining every-day health. |
Individually, each of these herbs provides
important health-promoting benefits; these are reinforced in combination
– particularly their beneficial impact upon circulation. Results from a
recent four-month trial, carried out by members of the Raynauds &
Scleroderma Association, reveal Höfels ‘Ginger & Ginkgo in
Garlic’ tablets to be a formidably warming combination.
- 90% of those
who completed the full course say ‘Ginger, Ginkgo and
Garlic’ helped to improve the condition of their circulation
- 80% of these
trialists say they will buy ‘Ginger, Ginkgo and Garlic’
again
- 73% would
recommend ‘Ginger, Ginkgo and Garlic’ to anyone
- 28% said that
they felt warmer
- 30% said that
there was a general improvement in their well-being
- 8% said that
they felt more cheerful and had more energy
- 6% experienced
fewer chilblains
- 5% found they
were less susceptible to colds
|
What
is Raynaud’s Phenomenon?
Raynaud’s is a
condition in which the blood supply to the extremities is restricted
– usually to the fingers and toes. The stimulus for a Raynaud’s
attack is usually a change in temperature or stress.
During an attack
affected extremities change colour – from white, to blue to red.
There may be considerable pain, numbness or tingling. In mild cases
particular care against changes in temperature – such as wearing
warm clothing and switching on extra heating – can help the
condition considerably. |
|
The following comments from satisfied
triallists reveal the positive impact the Höfels herbal
combination had upon their health:
"First winter for many years that I
have been free of colds".
"Ease of movement in my joints and
muscles, and the quality of my daily routine improved".
"I felt less cold, my circulation
seemed less sluggish. For the first winter in many years I had no
chilblains on my fingers".
"More energy and better general
health"
"My whole body felt warm, my thinking
generally clearer ". |
