Betty's Presentations will be
tailored as far as possible for specific expected audiences once she
has details. She is an experienced speaker with live audiences
as well as extensive media exposure in the US: live phone ins,
TV and radio interviews. She is only too happy to help spread
knowledge and understanding of the issues involved concerning
the possible serious health effects of aspartame on some
individuals. She will be speaking to give:
(a) a brief overview of the history
of how aspartame gained approval through the US regulatory
authorities
(b) a basic scientific background on aspartame
(c) a basic medical background of what effects aspartame can have on
the body and brain and why it has these effects - based on the
evidence and research of eminent physicians and scientists and
data gained over more than two decades (d) a view of the US
campaign, what is currently happening, the US/International Aspartame
Awareness Week (starts 28 August)
(e) some of the stories of sufferers - the good news and sadly, the
bad news
(f) her views on ways forward, how people can get involved and what
they can do for themselves their families and friends.
The scope and detail is dependent on
the time available and she will tailor the presentation
appropriately, but still touching on all the above
areas.
Technical detail will be within the
comprehension of a general audience and not aimed specifically
at health professionals unless they form the majority within
an audience. She will be pleased to answer individual questions from
the audience dependent upon the time available after the
presentation and the length and format of each event - which
Event Co-ordinators are to provide for her a few weeks prior
to the events.
Events are currently being arranged
for Betty to give talks on Health Aspects of aspartame from the 27th
August through to the early September. Venues will be London,
