International
Federation of Reflexologists |
The
International Federation of Reflexologists was
formed in the 1980's by a like minded group of professional
Reflexologists. These therapists felt that training standards and levels
of professional competence were not high enough and that the general
public had no way of contacting a therapist whom they could thrust to
treat them with care and competence.
As today the Federation has grown to be a leader
in the field and now as many thousands of members working all over the
world, bound together by a strict code of ethics and practise. As well as
keeping a register of professional therapist the I.F.R. has a list of
accredited schools which all teach to a centrally agreed syllabus. All
therapists take a separate course in anatomy and physiology over and above
that of Reflexology.
How do I find an IFR
therapist ?
