The Association of
Qualified Curative Hypnotherapists
Whilst there are many
organisations to which hypnotherapists belong, until the AQCH was
established, there was no body which specialised in the most advanced use
of hypnosis. The association of Qualified Curative Hypnotherapists has
been the professional body governing Curative Hypnotherapy since 1985.
The AQCH is the Registered
Charity (no 294512) devoted to improving the standards and enhancing the
recognition of hypnotherapy. It is not allied to any training or examination
organisation.
All practitioners must have
gained a qualification in the Curative uses of hypnotherapy before
applying for a membership. They must then undergo further interviews/oral
exam before being accepted.
All members must adhere to
a code of Conduct & Ethics, undergo continuing professional
development and are kept up to date by means of regular meetings and
issues of Hypnotherapy journal.
The Association maintains a
register of members, which can be sent out -free of charge - to any
enquirer. Information/advice may be gained by post, email or telephone.
The Association's web site also includes a list of practitioners along
with other information that may be of interest to those seeking treatment.
Curative Hypnotherapy is a
comfortable, enjoyable treatment and, because it aims to identify and then
to correct the actual cause of a problem, offers permanent solutions in
very few sessions.
