Australian Flower Essences therapy
What
are the Australian Flower essences?
The flower essences are not therapeutic drugs –
but work on the mind, soul and spirit and are obtained by extracting the
healing vibrational quality from the highest evolved part of the plant –
the flowers. Working on the emotional level, they harmonise negative
feelings and belief patterns held in the subconscious mind.

History
of the Flower Essences
The Flower Essences are not new having been used
by the Australian aborigines and Egyptians to bring about emotional
balance. They were also very popular in the Middle Ages. Paracelsus in the
15th century, collected dew from flowering plants and diluted
it to treat emotional disturbances. Dr. Edward Bach rediscovered flower
essences over fifty years ago using flowers of English plants and shrubs.
Australian plants have a real beauty and there is
something remarkable about them. Apart from having the highest number of
flowering plants, Australia also has some of the oldest in the world.

How
do they work?
The wildflowers’ work can be from the physical
level filtering back to relieve the mind state which caused it, or from
the mind state filtering down to relieve the physical. The aim is to treat
the root of the problem lying in the person’s mind, or to where the
attitude was affecting the body, according to whether they conceive of the
mind element, or only perceive the physical element.
