While you may find many home remedies for toe nail fungus, there is one that is used most often which works for most people. It?s really cheap and can be found at any grocery store. What?s this miracle cure? It?s vinegar! Some methods use distilled white vinegar, while many others use apple cider vinegar. They can be combined with other chemicals or used straight. The can be ingested or applied directly to the affected area. While there are many different varieties of this great home remedy for toenail fungus, they all include common, everyday vinegar.

The first method of this great home remedy for toenail fungus is using it straight without mixing it with other chemicals. You can put distilled white vinegar in a dropper and apply several drops to the affected area twice a day. In addition, you should soak your nails in the vinegar for about half an hour, once a week.

If this doesn?t work, you can dilute apple cider vinegar in a 50/50 solution with water and soak your feet in it twice a day. To further fight the fungus, you can mix two tbsp apple cider vinegar with a glass of water and drink several times daily. This way you can attack the infection from the inside and out. Plus, you can continue to drink this solution once the infection has healed to prevent it from coming back.

Another version of this toenail fungus home remedy involves mixing both types of vinegar (50/50) together and adding bleach. Obviously, you want to use a very small amount of bleach to avoid damaging the healthy parts of your toe, but the bleach gives it an extra kick to help further fight the infection. This is best applied directly to the infection to avoid damaging the skin on your feet from repeated soaking. You can also soak your feet in the vinegar solution and the dip them in diluted bleach for about 30 seconds.

Many people swear by vinegar mixed with hydrogen peroxide as a home remedy for toenail fungus. Just use a 50/50 mixture of the two and apply by dropper. If your fungus is really bad, you can just soak your nails in the solution. There may be some pain and a bit of bubbling, but that just means it?s working. This can also be followed by dipping your nails in diluted bleach for extra fungus fighting power.

While vinegar makes a great home remedy for toenail fungus, apple cider vinegar is also reported to help many other problems as well, including: warts, hot flashes, pain, cold sores, acid reflux, yeast infections, restless leg syndrome, and many other ailments. It?s just a great product to have around and take regularly for good health. Remember with there cures, and any other cure for your fungus, that they will not fix the problem overnight. When treating this nail fungus, you are basically treating the new nail that is growing in, and preventing the fungus from infecting new growth. Since nothing can be done for a nail that is already infected, you must continue treatment until the entire infected nail has grown out.
