When we say ?balance? some may imagine standing on one foot or ice skating, we are talking about the balance of all your body systems and balancing your life to include things such as exercise along with work, relationships, spirituality etc. Ask yourself truthfully; do you have a balanced life? Is there are balance between all aspects of your life? I didn?t think so, not many people do have a perfect balance. You may be super successful in business but not have time for kids or maybe you have a great relationship but not find the time to exercise. If you do exercise, have you got a balanced fitness routine? Do you focus on all aspects such as strength, endurance, health, and this balance a balanced muscular system? The truth is that most people don?t even know where to start to achieve.
Lets first briefly discuss lifestyle balance. Since we are a fitness organization we will focus on balancing your life to include health and fitness. So how many times have you said, ?I don?t have time to exercise?? Probably plenty of times, we all have. The problem is that you may not have been introduced to the variety of ways you can fit exercise in without taking up too much time. You really only need to spend about 20 minutes per day on exercise to get enormous benefits, you can even achieve elite levels of fitness if you use your time effectively, no matter how busy you are. But one problem can come up here, how do we exercise every aspect of our bodies and energy systems to get an overall benefit? There are ways and means of doing this as discussed on our site. This brings me to our next point, balancing your fitness efforts.
Some may go walking or jogging each day, lift weights, play sports on weekends but are they actually fit as well as healthy. You can be fit in one aspect but as a results, other areas may suffer. You can jog every day and have a healthy heart but you may also have postural problems and strength deficiencies. The way to combat this is to create a program that equally works every muscle group and balances strength, endurance, flexibility etc. Don?t get me wrong, you can still focus the major part of your efforts on a certain aspect such as running marathons or Olympic weight lifting but you need to include things that work your entire body and balance all energy systems, muscle groups etc. So be sure to include some strength work if you?re a runner or some flexibility if you lift weights etc. In other words include something for every fitness aspect. You can find information on fitness aspects in the article on our site, ?Quick Fitness Facts?.
