The Three Essential Elements to Gym and Life Happiness

By: Gregory Akerman

A proper sleeping, exercise, and eating regime that you stick to daily is the best way to achieve your fitness goals, and as side effects make you happier and more productive as well. As busy as people are today, they still must find seven to ten hours of good sleep each night. That amount of sleep is needed to replenish and rebuild your muscles after intense work-out days. Rebuilding your muscles requires proper nutrition and thus you must eat the correct food the correct way. I believe these three essential elements are equally important to achieve your fitness and life goals.

No matter how busy you are, finding the time for seven to ten hours of sleep each night is essential. If your stressed, want to go out at night, or simply have insomnia, finding a way to sleep helps reduce stress, feel more energized, rebuild your muscle tissue, and be more happy overall. I personally like to sleep, as when I wake up I feel re-energized and ready for the day. On those days I only get two or three hours of sleep -- yes, they happen, I'm Russian and Vodka is simply a part of my culture -- I feel like crap and certainly can't balance my exercise, eating, and sleep regime. But in general, it's very important for anybody that has fitness goals to skip all the nuances and do it correct.

Exercising, mainly hitting the weights is very important as well. However, it's not all about how much you work out. It's more about the quality of your work outs, how much sleep you?re getting, and what your feeding your muscles. I believe in a high protein, low-mid carb, low in bad fats and high in good fats type of diet. Eating five times a day is also essential, as this allows your body to continuously regrow and replenish itself.

Breakfast, Workout, Protein Shake, Sports, Lunch, Small Meal, Dinner, Small Meal, and than Sleep. Repeat over and over again (with days off at the gym, as to not over train) and you still might not see results, but the people around you will!
