Why Work Out

By: Lance Winslow

The other day I asked a friend if they wanted to go jogging with me and they said they did not like to jog and I asked them why. They told me that jogging made them all sweaty and tired and it was hard work. They would rather just sit down and enjoy life.

This I think is the problem with why Americans are so fat. I told my friend that if he worked out or went jogging every day that he would lose weight, feel better, live longer and not have to worry about medical issues down the road.

He said he didn't care about any of that because he was going to get out the vote for Hillary Clinton for president who would guarantee free health care. That way if anything ever happened to him he could get free health care and there was no reason to work out.

He would just go to the doctor and get fixed with what ever happened and everything would be good. That is an interesting concept and it is a little scary when you think about it. Relying on government for your health? Government cannot do anything right and governments only real job is to protect the American people and anything else they do is a luxury that we probably cannot afford.

If people do not work out and come up with such lame excuses, then we are going to have more people with diabetes, medical issues and needing new body parts than the health-care system can afford.

It will bankrupt our nation and anyone who votes for it must be on drugs. Of course those people who abuse drugs should vote for it because they are going to need new heart valves pretty soon. Consider this in 2006.
