Do you have those days where you just need more energy?
You've read all the latest articles about exercising more and eating less. You even go a step further and join the gym. After a month or two of consistently following this plan, you still are exhausted.
If this sounds like you keep reading. Consider looking at another area of your life that is rarely talked about: your environment or surroundings. This includes your office, car, rooms in your home, and even people you associate with.
Are there any areas in your environment that irritate you?
Take a moment and think about the areas that you purposely avoid because it is so overwhelming. Or the people you associate with that just drain every drop of energy left in your body. You know who those people are.
For example, you come home from a energizing workout and the first sight you see after you enter your house, is a pile of mail that you have been meaning to open.
You pass over it and say, I'll do that later. And walk away. Your conscious mind says okay, but your subconscious mind is working overtime keeping it in the back of your mind to do later.
So all of the energy you just worked hard to gain from exercising and improving your diet, now is being used by your mind to remind you that something is not finished. In a few hours what you are left with is a body drained of energy.
Bottom Line: You can do 1000 push-ups, swim 100 laps, drink 10 glasses of water a day, but if your environment is not supportive of the life you desire to lead, your energy will evaporate.
What is one action you can take right now to make your environment in line with the person you desire to be. All it takes is one action. Step boldly and decisively at this moment and your desires will move with you to accomplish your task. The end result will be a more fulfilled and energetic you.
