Your Bodys Desperate Need for Water

It is amazing that something as vital to your body as water can be so overlooked and underappreciated. Every system in your body relies on water in order to operate properly. If water levels drop too low, vital systems begin to fail. Just to give you an idea about the importance of water look at these percentages:

  • Brain- 74% water
  • Blood- 83% water
  • Muscles- 75% water
  • Bones- 22% water
  • Body in general- 65%

With these percentages in mind, you quickly see that your body cannot exist without water. Unfortunately, the average person consumes just enough water to keep them alive. This means that the average body is constantly struggling and under great amounts stress.

This means that your kidneys and liver suffer toxic buildups that are devastating to your health. Every cell in your body is negatively affected by lack of this vital fluid.

As you can see, the health implications of water are enormous. A six year study revealed that people who drink at least 8 glasses of water daily are 41% less likely to die from a heart attack.

Another function of water is cushioning of the joints. Water allows for joint support and lubrication. This can be very helpful if you have arthritis or other joint problems.

Many false disease symptoms can appear as a result of severe dehydration. For example, dehydration can cause pain resembling colitis, angina, and appendicitis. This can lead to wrong diagnosis and prescriptions, which can increase your health concerns drastically. Stay hydrated and chronic problems you thought were incurable will go away completely.

If you are willing to make the effort to increase your daily water consumption, you will see that the rewards are rich. Proper water intake is so easy and so beneficial that it's unbelievable how many people simply ignore their body's need for this life giving substance.
