Acupuncture
The
European Journal of Oriental Medicine
|
The
European Journal of Oriental Medicine is the journal of the
British Acupuncture Council. It was started in Spring 1993 with a
view to creating a journal which would stimulate debate and
scholarship in Chinese medicine and other traditions of oriental
medicine. For the last six years EJOM has opened up the arena
of debate surrounding oriental medicine beyond the scope of most
professional journals in the field.
Not only do articles reflect current issues of clinical practice but
include the wider contextual frameworks provided by education,
philosophy, politics and medical anthropology. Each issue is themed,
attracting diverse contributions from both practitioners and
academics. The aim of the journal is to stimulate informed debate,
creative interchange and critical reflection.
