Potters Herbal Medicines

Founded in 1812 in Farringdon Street, London by Henry Potter who was a purveyor of ‘seeds, herbs and leeches’. His son, Henry Potter II, attended Herbal University in London. Studying with him was a young man from the Midlands, whose name was Jessie Boots founder of the Boots Store.

From these humble beginnings in Farringdon Street, Potters grew into the largest manufacturer of licensed herbal medicines and quality fluid extracts in Europe.

A scientific and technical approach to herbal products, coupled with the highest standards of quality control applied to every ingredient, has meant that Potters have achieved full product licences for over 135 products. This means that they can be prescribed by doctors. www.pottersherbals.co.uk

Potters, still a privately owned company, is committed to promoting improved health and well being for patients using herbs to tackle the cause and not just the symptoms of many of the common ailments that afflict us today.

Dedicated to high standards of quality, Potters provide the widest possible choice of herbal products for as many disease states as possible. Nearly all the treatments can claim to have ‘no known side effects’, so that the patient has a safe pure and effective alternative medicine.
