Bristol Cancer Help Centre
The Centre runs a residential therapy programme for
those with cancer and their supporters. The Centre’s approach recognises
that the diagnosis of cancer affects not just the health of the body, but
also the emotions, the mind and the spirit. The programme, therefore, uses
a fully integrated range of complementary therapies and self-help
techniques, including nutrition and diet, and works alongside medical
treatment to promote positive health in all areas.
An extensive education programme is also
available for health professionals and complementary practitioners wanting
to learn more about the holistic approach in cancer care.
