organisations Migraine
The Migraine Action Association is a
registered charity which provides information and support to migraine
sufferers and their families. It operates a telephone helpline, website
and postal information service and publishes numerous leaflets on all
aspects of migraine and its treatment. Membership costs £5.00 per annum
and members receive a quarterly newsletter and access to the comprehensive
second level of the Association’s website.
The Association is active in raising
general awareness of migraine, disseminating information and acting as a
bridge between patients and healthcare professionals.
The Association supports and finances
migraine research and helps to fund specialist migraine clinics.
