Burn The Fat How It Worked For Me

This is about what really changed my life, my health, my energy levels - absolutely life changing in every way.

At just 5' 4" with slim wrists and ankles, I was not designed to be 13 ? stone. I never was that big as a child or adolescent. Even in my early 20's I was slim - size 6 - 8. I worked really hard back then and did loads of dancing in nightclubs. My weight was never something I'd thought about and seemed to always be around 8 ? stone. When I was a teenager, my mother sent me to a modelling school (although I always wondered about who would employ a 5'4" model!).

I went back to university and got a good job after that. And without really thinking about it - I put on weight. I had a good income for the first time in my life, nice house, nice car - life was good. I had moved out to the country - life was more sedate and the days of dancing all night and working 80 hours a week were gone. And what went with the 'younger' days my figure and my health.

What I needed was a wake-up call, and I got one that will last forever - photos of me as a bridesmaid at my younger sister's wedding. I cried. Everyone said I carried the weight well and hadn't lost my looks at all, but all I could see was the 'whale' I had become. Overnight I seemed to notice how many clothes didn't fit me anymore, and how I had clothes in my wardrobe with 'size 16' on the label. I couldn't walk up the small hill to the shop without puffing. I made a decision to do something about it, and as an added incentive I stuck a photo of me in that bridesmaid's dress on the door of the fridge.

I began to look at all the alternatives - there are just so many diet and weight loss options available these days - weight watchers, Atkins etc. I got on the internet one night and found this book. It made sense to me - I wanted to burn the fat off, not starve myself. When I remember the way I used to have so much energy and be dancing and walking all the time - of course I was burning fat! I've always had a really 'healthy' appetite but the types of food I was now eating (because I could afford to) were not helping the weight gain!

So I bought the book - Burn The Fat and Feed The Muscle. It has helped me to make some really serious life changes that actually, weren't that difficult after all! The tips were fantastic and really easy to implement. My family were really supportive and my partner even used it too! Since buying that book I have lost 5 stone (yes I really have!) and feel younger now (35 years old) that I did at 30. I have loads of energy and love walking again - I now walk 3 miles to work in the mornings and it leaves me feeling great all day.

Thanks to a book and a photo - I have my life back!
