Liposuction is a newly discovered medical technique that is used to remove access body fat from different parts of the human body such as waist, hips, chin, and thighs. Standard surgical procedures used during liposuction leads to a lot of blood loss and in some cases have proved fatal for the patient.

The latest technology used in liposuction involves the use of ultrasonic devices that provides surgeons more flexibility in removing body fat. In this process ultrasonic sound waves are used to break up the fat cells in the body and convert the fat to oil so that it can be removed with ease.

Standard ultrasonic liposuction machines include different components such as ultrasonic generator, suction canula, and ultrasonic probe. The canula and the probe are attached to the ultrasonic generator and suction vacuum machine. The liposuction process starts with introducing tumescent fluid into the human body part where fat is stored. The canula holding the ultrasonic probe is then passed over the body fat, which breaks up the body fat and converts it into liquid form. The tumescent fluid present in the body absorbs this liquid fat, forming an emulsion, which is then sucked through the hollow canula.

Ultrasonic liposuction method is an addition to traditional liposuction methods that allows surgeons to remove more fat from areas in the body that were difficult to treat with traditional liposuction. It has allowed surgeons to remove fat from difficult areas such as abdomen, flanks, and back and also from areas that are being redone.

As with all surgical procedures, the risk of complications is also present in ultrasonic liposuction. If not used properly, the energy present on the tip of the canula may burn the skins undersurface leading to scar marks. Other complications include the collection of fluid in the operated area after surgery is completed. However these are minor complication that can be alleviated with the help of proper medication and therapy.

Ultrasonic provides detailed information on Ultrasonic, Ultrasonic Transducers, Ultrasonic Cleaners, Ultrasonic Nebulizers and more. Ultrasonic is affiliated with Electronic Test Equipment.
