Being healthy is important. Most of us know that if we are overweight we are more likely to develop health problems, yet most of us continue down the path that leads to weight gain.
Why do we do this?
A simple phrase I heard someone say once may apply. "When the pain of the same out ways the pain of change, then we will change."
You may want to be skinnier, healthier, stronger, happier.....but the truth is, you are comfortable the way you are and you are not in enough pain to change.
When will you be ready to change?
In relationships some people stay with their partner because it is easier than leaving. But when the pain of staying with an abusive partner out ways the pain of leaving and starting over all by yourself, you leave.
At work some people stay in a low paying job with a boss that is verbally abusive for years. Finally when the pain of staying in that job is to great....we leave.
With our credit debt some people spend, spend, and spend. Finally when they see that the pain of trying to pay off all the debt is too much to bear, we quit spending.
I believe the same is true with weight loss. When the pain of the same out ways the pain of change, we will change.
When you have the desire to really change, and an accountability team to hold you to your goal, you will lose the weight.
You may have failed in the past because the pain was not great enough for you to make a serious commitment. Don't wait until it is too late to create a healthier you.
Does the pain of the same out way the pain of change in your life? Are you ready to make a serious commitment to change your life? Do you need an easy to follow plan that is fun and affordable?
